What an amazing Children in Need day we had at school for Children In Need on Friday 15th November.
So many children dressed in spots and supporting such a great cause.
The children (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed the surprise performances from the school band – special thanks to Mr Cooper, Craig Davis, Mr Amies, Mrs McCaig and Miss Murray.
The coffee morning and cake stall alone raised over £130, plus mufti money of approx £450. Then to top it all off our fill the Pudsey Bears with silver coins raised almost £270. I think this may be a record total so thank you to everyone who baked, dressed up and donated. The cake competition was won by Amelia in Year 5, second was Evie and Poppy (Years 6 and 4) and third Poppy in Year 5.
