Sheringham Super Stars

Year 3/4 Girls' Football

We had great pleasure in taking 2 teams of Y3/4 girls to a football tournament at Beeston Hall School.  It was the first taste of competitive sport for some of the children and they played well as teams managing to come in 4th and 6th places overall.  Well done girls!

A huge thank you and congratulations to the parents/ grandparents/ friends of the children who joined in with a race too.

Thank you for your continued support and an even bigger well done to all of our children.

Science Champions - 28th March 2023

On Tuesday 28th March the live final of CAST education’s Top Class Science competition was held at the UEA and we are delighted to tell you that one of our Year 6 teams was victorious! Preliminary rounds were held online against other schools across Norfolk with both of our teams making it through to the semi-finals. Team 2 prevailed and found themselves matched in a live showdown with the second highest placed competition school from the heats – Trowse Primary. The composure and knowledge of the Sheringham scientists prevailed and they came away victorious with a final score of 71-45. We were / are so proud of them – well done all! (A special thank you to Mr Perrem for organising our participation and spear-heading our winning ways!)

Years 3/4 Football Team - November 2022

We were delighted to take two Y3/4 football teams to play in a tournament at Beeston Hall School. The girls' team were victorious after winning all of their matches and the boys' team came second in their competition, winning 3 and drawing 2 of their games, very narrowly missing out on goal difference. As usual, all of the children were fantastic representatives of the school.

Football Tournament - October 2022

What an amazing performance from our football team today at an inter school tournament. We were up against 6 other teams. We performed brilliantly in the group stage, topping the group, not letting a single goal in and scoring 24 goals!

We made it into the final after winning the semi final 2-0. In the final we went 1-0 through a great goal from Jack H. Bure Valley equalised and scored a winner in the last few minutes.

Despite coming 2nd, all the children should be so proud of their teamwork and the great football they played.

Harriet has passed her NICAS Level 1 in climbing at Highball in Norwich. Harriet has loved climbing anything she could since she was able to move.

Everyone is so proud of the fact she never gave up and kept preserving if not getting a little distracted along the way! She always has a smile on her face and her confidence has grown.

Well done Harriet and good luck with your level 2!
