School Choir

May 2nd
This morning the Choir sang at the Cromer Music Festival. The children sang beautifully and received a Commended certificate. Well done!
Thank you to all the parent who helped with transport. Without you we couldn't do such amazing things.
Certificates will be presented on Friday in assembly.

March Update
The choir is getting really good at our two songs we are working on. We have entered into the Cromer Music Festival and hope to be able to perform our two songs in May. Watch this space for any updates.

Welcome back everyone. The choir have met twice already this term. We have been practicing two new songs, You Are My Sunshine and You've Got the Love. Everyone is singing really well and having a good time. T
he Infant and Junior choirs are now united to give us a bigger sound and this is working well. We are planning to enter the Cromer Music Festival in May so we have a lot of work to do.

Both Mrs Robinson and I would like to thank all the people who supported the choir over the Christmas period. Without your help and effort we couldn't have achieved as much.
Mrs Duke & Mrs Robinson.

This week has been really busy for the Sheringham Primary School Choir. We started the week singing at the Christmas Tree Festival in St Peters Church in town. It went down a storm. It was the first time everyone has sung together in public and it was fantastic.
The next venue was the East Anglian Childrens Hospice fundraiser in Gresham School Chapel. We all wore Santa hats and sang two songs for everyone. Once again the children all sang beautifully and everyone had a magical evening.

Our final public performance for 2013 was Thursday morning at St Nicholas’ Nursing Home. The children sang for nearly an hour and made the residents very happy. One lady stood and sang two songs with the children (it was the longest she’d been out of her chair for a long time); another lady was so moved by their singing that it brought tears to her eyes.
Mrs Robinson and I both would like to thank all the parents who walked with us and drove their children to Holt over this last week, without you it would not have been possible.

Here’s wishing everyone a marvellous Christmas and a Happy New Year. Can’t wait to get started again in 2014!
