A Week of Magical Music For The Children in Key Stage 2!

There are three exciting musical events taking place this week.

On Tuesday afternoon a few of the children in Key Stage 2 are taking part in the 'Upbeat Orchestra' at Gresham's School, Holt. It's a wonderful afternoon where the children get the opportunity to perform as part of an orchestra.

On Thursday, thirty children, will be taking part in a 'Percussion Day' at Beeston Hall school. The day involves a series of workshops using tuned and un-tuned percussion, including 'Boom Whackers'. The day will finish with a mass ensemble performance for parents.

Finally, on Sunday, some of the children in Year 4 will be  performing the opera 'The Magic Flute' by Mozart, at the Theatre Royal in Norwich. It will be an amazing experience with five hundred children from schools around the county performing alongside professional musicians and opera singers.

Watch out for updates of how our musicians got on next week.
