Mental Health Week 4th - 8th Feb

Mental Health Week is from 4th to 8th February and we will be looking at the following topics in class and through activities and a Learning Cafe. 

 

  • Mental Health - mindfulness 
  • E-Safety
  • Diet ~ cook and create a healthy meal or snack
  • Exercise
  • Resilience

Mental Health Week has started with energy and enthusiasm from all! We eased our way in to the week focusing on mindfulness and relaxation. We enjoyed a lovely, chilled learning cafe during the afternoon - thank you to those who were able to join us and for your valuable  feedback. We are looking forward to the rest of the week. Your teachers have been really busy planning lots of super activities. A really great start!

We finished off our Mental Health Week today with a great 'resilience' assembly led by our guest Rachel Welch. It involved volunteer adults who were used to model resilience in a fun and engaging way. We've all enjoyed a week filled with mindfulness and resilience.
