The staff tried their best but due to the needs of the children and the support needed on activities they may not have got a shot of every child. It was not a deliberate oversight.

Climbing Frame Opening Day 2016 - Thank you to G Barker and C Taylor for the photos
The children and staff have been really busy all week, working on a special art project. They are bonding as a class and making new friends whilst creating beautiful art work to be displayed around our school next year. We really hope this new project has made the children feel confident and excited about the year ahead.
Our fantastic children have been involved in making a brilliant film about what helps them at school. They have worked with BBC Voices and Claire & Wayne from the Local Offer Filmakers and Film Stars. Take a look here

Well done to him for this fantastic achievement.
The children took turns to support him and had a go at racing bikes themselves. If you wish to make a voluntary donation to support this wonderful achievement, please send it into the school office.

Play in a Day 2016
Today Year 5 and 6 were visited by the NSPCC to talk about how they can keep safe. They were great listeners and showed superb ideas in discussing how to keep themselves safe, including on line.
Next week, the NSPCC will return to lead some workshops for the children in their classes.
We all came together this morning for a traditional 9 Lessons and Carols service, led by the year 6 children. Our choir sang and our handbells group played. There was a really warm and caring atmosphere, coming together to celebrate both Christmas and our school's achievements this term. A beautiful end to the term.
Merry Christmas to you all and a very happy new year.

Almost 600 of our children enjoyed a Christmas dinner today. There was a lovely atmosphere with all staff members rolling up their sleeves to help. It was especially nice to see our Year 6 children help to set the tables, clear up and also help our youngest children with their food. Well done everyone- great team work.
